(Monday, 10 December)
Did the gym thing with I. again, lifted. Feeling pretty tired, and not really into the whole "running at night" thing.
(Tuesday, 11 December)
I can't even remember what happened on Tuesday, so I think I must not have gone on a run. I do know that I turned in the last of my applications and finished grading though.
(Wednesday, 12 December)
Beer mile! Ran about 8.25, which felt easy considering I ran about a 1.55 first lap. My suspicion is that root beer is equally difficult as regular beer because the sweetness makes it easier to get down, but the carbonation is higher. Nice dinner afterwards with the CMS and PP folks, then headed home early.
Run afterwards to the gym, but my stomach hurt (Big surprise) so it was pretty half assed. I don't think I should be running at night any more, I just have too little energy.
(Thursday, 13 December)
Longer run to the Rosebowl, up Seco/Mtn and to Sierra Madre and back. 30 minutes in the middle a bit harder, but I didn't take it too seriously. I think the pace was about 7.40s. I did get stopped at a few lights though.
Overall, I feel a bit blah these days. Energy is low, restlessness is too high, and legs feel tired and heavy. I think I'm just getting over the term. Also, I'm on a ridiculous cleaning binge. Weird.
(Friday, 14 December)
Ran about 45 minutes from the gym, went down to Lacy and did 25 on the grass there. My right ankle almost rolled again on some thick grass - careful!!!! Feeling much better than yesterday though. I think I need to keep running in the morning. Long and slow feels like a luxury after this term. I was so lucky this summer and I didn't even realize it.
(Saturday, 15 December)
Long day. Did an easy Art Center loop with Eric and Heather, I felt a little like Will except not as cool, fast, fit, or cool. Tried on a hot dress at H&M. Made me want some leather boots...
(Sunday, 16 December)
Did a tempo run (medium hard since I was kinda groggy) on the grass of SM in my Frees. We'll see if my calves are tired tomorrow. Helped Dave with the moving, saw a women's BB game, which was pretty fun.
