I can't believe I remembered to stop my watch. Should've run faster.

Week 4: new bike, finishing school up

On tap for this week: doing some rides, finishing up school, and chillin out.

(Monday, 2 June)
Oh gosh it's June.

Rode up to Clear Creek on the QA, still fiddling with the derailleur but it didn't bother me tooo much. I like Dave's saddle. I may not give it back. Working on my farmer's tan. It was nice to be on the bike, everything fit comfortably (other than a weird left leg cramp about an hour in, but that went away). I was definitely not using as low of gears as I have needed to in the past, which may be because I have lower gears now, or because the bike is lighter. That felt pretty satisfying.

(Tuesday, 3 June)
Chantry. Next point of action is going to be to replace the chain, I think. Maybe it's just wear. I saw something on Sheldon Brown about measuring the chain wear and looking at teeth to see how much they've worn (the cassette) so that'll be something to do when I get the chance.

Chantry was nice, I took it pretty easy. Just getting some time in on the saddle. Tomorrow maybe I will do my 2 finals.

(Wednesday, 4 June)
Finished up my finals today - all two of them! Hooray! Big, long day, but with no running. Did go to basketball class though, where I triumphed over Dow in knockout. He maaay have let me win, though. :)

(Thursday, 5 June)
Packed, and went to yoga class. Can't believe I'm done.

(Friday, 6 June)
(Saturday, 7 June)
(Sunday, 8 June)

I didn't run the rest of the week because I was back in Piedmont with my folks. Getting hefty.
