I can't believe I remembered to stop my watch. Should've run faster.

{Running, Cycling} nerd-blog?

So since we're all commenting on each other's blogs these days, should we have our own blog/forum for that purpose? Kangway says yes, because a) running.caltech.edu is muerto, and b) letsrun sucks balls.

1) what would we name it?
2) who would like to be admins? I think KC, MA, IS, MK, KB, RO would be a good start since those are the folks whose blogs I usually comment on. Then any of us can post stuff or just comment on things that's already been posted.
3) it could be like running.caltech was, but more flexible topic-wise.

Ideas?

Megumi (on aim earlier) suggested that we should find a way such that comments can move to the top of the page. Of course as an admin you could always just change the Post Time, thus moving the post to the top, but thats sort of weird and slow and manual and not automatic. But I think it's a valid point to keep the most updated stuff up where it's most readily seen.

Yeah, too bad Google blogs aren't a little more flexible.

As for names, we could always go with "beaverfever.blogspot.com", but then again maybe we should earmark that for the XC team.

oops someone else got that one... hmm.

I keep trying to think of names, but I'm not sure what to use. Actually, you know, anything with the word "caltech" in it is usually free.

Somehow I just like plain and simple ones though. Too bad "fast.blogspot.com" is taken or "speed.blogspot.com" or "running.blogspot.com."

I'll keep my eye out for something nice and awesome. I spend a solid 10 minutes each day checking the availability of names, but all the good ones are taken!
